Misunderstanding
We both got it wrong
Closed off energy
Is the enemy
To another potential chat
With no words released… we both walk away
With our pride and hurt feelings in both hands
Both of us can’t stand
This injustice in our minds
We give it time
To get our minds right again
At the same, I want to win this cold game
Every day becomes the same
Each party blames
Internally
Refusing to see
The misunderstanding
Until one lays down the armor
And asks if the other is all right
Yes is the answer
We both don’t feel like strangers…anymore…
We open our doors
To our communication houses
Two sensitive souls
Got it wrong that Monday
Yet, our friendship remains
And we return to our normal program
